Offers opportunities for people to learn new skills and hobbies (or relearn old ones), meet new friends and different people and join in with organised activities and events.

At Thingwall the main provision of day care is through the Resource Service. Individual programmes are devised which look to match that person's interests and needs. Many of the activities are community based which will start and finish at the person's home.

Other smaller day activity areas at Thingwall include horticulture and woodwork whilst in the Walton area of Liverpool, Imageink is based at New Century Halls providing an IT training programme as well as a drop in facility. New Century Halls is a community resource facility which also runs educational courses along with other activities for the people of Walton.
